Fruity Pebbles Rice Krispie Treats Recipe

We love this colorful twist on Rice Krispie Treats as a fun way to celebrate! The rainbow result makes them perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or anytime you want any easy, bright treat. Plus, your kids will probably be thrilled to have Fruity Pebbles in the house!

Friends rave about my Rice Krispie Treats and I swear I don’t do anything that special. But, I do prefer my Rice Krispie treats fluffy. So, I don’t pat them down. Instead, I lightly spread them out with a silicone spatula and leave them to “fluff” for a few hours before cutting and serving.

  • 4 1/2 Tbsp. unsalted butter

  • 6 cups mini marshmallows

  • 3 1/2 cups Rice Krispie cereal

  • 4 1/2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal

How To:

  • In a microwave safe bowl heat the marshmallows and unsalted butter until fluffy - about 75 seconds.

  • Stir until the butter and marshmallows are completely incorporated and smooth.

  • Add the Rice Krispies, then the Fruity Pebbles.

  • Pour into a greased 9x13 pan and lightly spread with a silicon spatula.

  • Let sit, uncovered for a few hours.

  • Notes: I like mine fluffy so I do not pat them down in the pan. I like to lightly spread them out and leave them fluffy. Also, I always spray my pans and spatulas with Wilton Bake Easy non-stick spray. It works like a dream!
